'Foundations' - the Journal of the Foundation for Medieval Genealogy
Anyone can subscribe to hardcopies of future issues of Foundations or purchase back issues by going to our secure online shop. For those not wishing to pay online a manual order form is available - CLICK HERE. To view the online edition of the journal go to the Users' Area (password required) by CLICKING HERE. You must be a Registered User or Member of the FMG to use this facility. You can also view a sample of one of the articles by CLICKING HERE. To view the online version you will need a recent version of Adobe Reader software which is freely available on the internet. If you need to obtain it or your current version needs upgrading then click here to download the current version and follow the instructions on the Adobe site. Files which open in Acrobat Reader are of the format "filename.pdf". We welcome feedback on Foundations, either regarding its genealogical content, or the form of presentation. If you have any technical difficulty with navigation in the Online Edition of Foundations, for example links that do not work, please let us know with full details of what happened and what error messages you received. Remember to be patient - the files can take a while to download, depending on your connection speed. If you are unable to open the files at all, try downloading a more recent version of Adobe Reader. The Foundation for Medieval Genealogy publishes a journal
entitled
'Foundations' with
articles, short communications, queries, reviews and letters to the editor, all relating to medieval
genealogy (pre-1500), and news material relating to FMG activities. We
are actively seeking contributions, from members or others. The journal is provided
electronically to all Registered Users and Members of the Foundation,
plus a printed hardcopy for Members.
